Each organisation registered within Connect ID Service has a certain Organisation Type. It describes the nature/kind of organisation. The details of all the possible types can be found here.
The typical hierarchy of football related organisations is:
World Federation (FIFA) --> Confederation (e.g. UEFA) --> National Association (e.g. DFB) --> Regional Association(s) --> Clubs --> Teams
FIFA, its six confederations and 211 Member Associations are preregistered and they all have fixed FIFA_IDs. When onboarding to a Connect ID Service a given Member Associations is required to register at least all its clubs. However, Member Associations are encouraged to register the whole hierarchy of their organisations.
