Registering a Person in Connect Id Service does not require much information - only name, gender, date of birth and some info concerning registrations.
However, when the goal is to help other MA resolve a potential duplicate, we expect you to share as much information about a person as possible. FIFA Data Standard defines which fields are mandatory to share.
Occasionally it may happen that MA does not know a value for a mandatory field. The latest release of FIFA Data Standard (ver. 3.3) includes a feature to help such an MA. See below the list of fields and values we expect you to use when you don't know the correct one:
PlaceOfBirth - use "n/a" if value is unknown. This is a text field.
Nationality - use "XX". This value has been added in ver. 3.3 of the FIFA Data Standard.
CountryOfBirth - use "XX". This value has been added in ver. 3.3 of the FIFA Data Standard.
