There was no official information from Microsoft about solving the problem yet (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/status/) but the systems are now responding on all environments.
Connect ID Service is currently not operational as the critical 3rd party service (Azure Active Directory used for authentication & authorization) failed.
This also affects Hashing and ID Directory so that applications using SDK will fail for example to register a new person.
The issue was reported to Azure Support with severity “critical”. Whenever I have an update I will keep you posted.

Microsoft has just announced (14:30) that they fixed the issue. All services are operating normally.
