Data Quality in FIFA Connect ID
One of our key initiatives is to enhance data quality throughout the FIFA Connect Program. High-quality data plays a crucial role in ensuring that football-related processes function seamlessly, especially when it comes to player registrations, identification, international transfers, and solidarity payments.
To support this effort, we’ve introduced the Data Quality Dashboard in the FIFA Connect ID Admin Console.

Issues Overview
Once you enter the dashboard, you will see a summary of data-related issues potentially affecting records linked to your Member Association. All issues marked in red require your team’s attention and review.
To begin:
- Click the "Go to the list" button under any specific issue you'd like to look into.
- A new browser tab will open showing a filtered list of affected FIFA IDs.
- Use the Admin Console's export functionality to download the list in .csv file for further investigation.
You can then follow your internal process to resolve these issues—typically by contacting your technical team or system provider.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the update frequency of the dashboard?
A: If you fix a given issue, you will see it immediatelly reflected in the results (numbers) - refreshing the screen will be enough. If you don't, please check our Audit Trail to make sure that your data fix went through.
Q: Why fixing the first issue "MA should take over records registered via TMS" is important for my Member Association?
A: If no action is taken, these records will remain under TMS as the data owner (since they were originally registered via TMS) and may eventually be taken over by another Member Association. The problem with this is that your MA will not be reflected in the player's history within Connect ID. As a result—although unlikely—your MA could miss out on potential training rewards when an Electronic Player Passport (EPP) is created in the future.
Q: How do I fix the first issue "MA should take over records registered via TMS"?
A: For all affected FIFA IDs (accessible by clicking "Go to the list"), the only action required is to run the AddRegistration(...)
method and submit your most recent registration information to Connect ID. Your system provider should be able to assist you with this process.
